At Thea & Sami, we design and hand-print natural and organic fabrics for home and body in our studio in Brisbane, Australia. We utilise only water-based and non-toxic inks.
We also create a limited-edition range of house-wares and accessories and can help you with custom-made soft furnishings using our fabrics and local resources.
Thea & Sami was established in December 2006 by designer Thea Samios. After meeting the man of her dreams on the internet, Thea was lured to Canada where she took the opportunity to study Craft & Design at Sheridan College (now Sheridan Institute).
Originally enrolled to study furniture design, Thea transferred to the adjacent Textiles studio once she realised that precision did matter in woodworking. Thea graduated from the programme with honours in 2005 and returned to Australia shortly after with her family. Thea loves to collect vintage and hand-made products for her home and supports local designers.
Voyt Reich (the aforementioned man of dreams) joined Thea & Sami this year and brings his strong sales background to the business with over 20 years experience in commercial real estate. In his spare time, Voyt loves to play the conga drums and speaks 4 languages fluently.

Screen-printing our own designs keeps us quite busy so we are unable to provide yardage or other screen-printing services.
