| LEARN TO SCREEN-PRINT FABRICS |
Here's you chance to learn the basics of screen-printing fabric, personally taught by me (Thea Samios) within a small, friendly group.
Choose from 1 day of basic training where you will learn how to screen print with a small screen cutting out your own stencils.
Or choose the 2 day option and learn how to screen-print yardage fabrics with a partner on Day 2. This is a rare opportunity (in Brisbane) to do so. 2 full days of training.

$550 for 2 days including all materials.

$300 deposit will secure your place. Balance is due one month prior to class.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Day 1 - Correct Screen-Printing Techniques:
- angle and pressure matter
- printing with small screens
- how to correctly wash your screens
- how to cut a stencil for screen-printing
- what kind of film positives to use for screen exposure
- which suppliers to use in Brisbane
- how to register a screen & print in batches
Day 2 - Printing Large Screens with a Partner:
- how to print with a partner
- how to put a design into repeat
- registering a large screen
- setting up a screen for yardage repeat printing
- what inks to use and how to mix them
- heat setting fabrics
- when to use a flash dryer
- how to set up a screen-printing table & studio
There will be plenty of hands-on experience in this course!
